THE SUBMISSION PROCESS FOR THE BI CONGRESS 3 IS CLOSED.
Track and Type: When submitting, you must make a decision on the track most relevant to your submission (Research or Teaching). If you feel your submission is suitable for more than one track, please submit it to only that track where you deem the submission would make the most important contribution.
Language: The language of the BI Congress and all submissions is English.
Originality: Submissions to the BI Congress must not already have been published or accepted in a journal or conference proceedings, nor presented at another conference. Further, they must not be currently under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere. Paper authors must agree to have their work published in the BI Congress proceedings and posted electronically to the Teradata University Network for distribution. A different final version of your paper must be submitted if it is accepted to a journal.
Proceedings: Accepted papers and materials will be published on the Teradata University Network website and in a bound hard copy of the proceedings.
Journal Fast-Tracking: Select papers will be fast-tracked to journals including, but not limited to:
International Journal of Business Intelligence Research: A peer-reviewed publication dedicated to exchanging the latest academic research and practical findings on all aspects of managing business intelligence in organizations. IJBIR serves to improve the role, scope, and impact of BI on decision making and to provide a mechanism for sharing research to a global audience. This journal publishes original research and case studies by academic, business, and government contributors on strategies, tools, techniques, and technologies for business intelligence. Providing a global forum for the investigation and reporting of diverse aspects and issues that affect business intelligence, IJBIR targets researchers, practitioners, academicians, knowledge management researchers, and other industry-related experts.
BI Journal: The BI Journal is an in-depth, unbiased information resource for BI and DW professionals. This quarterly publication provides fresh ideas and perspectives to help organizations operate more intelligently. It provides actionable insight on how to plan, build, and deploy BI and DW solutions.
How to Submit: All BI Congress paper submissions are to be made via e-mail and to the addresses listed in the particular track.
Length and formatting requirements: The requirements listed under each track are firm. Any submission that exceeds length limits or deviates from formatting requirements will be rejected without review.
Submission limits: To encourage broad participation, the program committee discourages multiple appearances by the same individual in the program. In light of this policy, participants are requested to make no more than three submissions of all types. Further, participants can appear as significant presenters (paper presenter or panelist) only twice in the BI Congress Program.
Commitment to participate in the conference: At least one author of every accepted submission and all members of every accepted panel must register for the conference by November 1, 2012.
