Synopsis:
Traditional
project management practices simply don’t cut in on today’s
volatile, high-change, high-speed, high-stress ventures. To
succeed on these extreme projects, today’s new breed project
manager needs to adopt a quantum mindset, know how to apply a
flexible project model, and at the same time, be able to unleash
motivation and innovation.
Many organizations aspire to adopt
agile processes to take advantage of the numerous benefits that
they offer to an organization. As the demand for agile adoption
grows, we keep asking what does it mean to be agile? When is an
organization considered agile? Which practices should the
organization adopt? Are there any guidelines to help with agile
adoption efforts?
The Agile Adoption Framework is a
structured, yet flexible process framework that helps guide and
assist agile coaches and organizations in their agile adoption
efforts. The framework consists of two components: (1) an agile
measurement index, to identify the agile potential of projects
and organizations, and (2) a 4-Stage process to determine which
set of agile practices the organization can adopt for each
project. This talk also includes an exciting hands-on simulation
of an agile adoption engagement.
